Fun Photo Essays presents:The Flock at WaterBy Cathy & John, Queensland, Australia
On our walk this morning we went past the other lagoon over the hill from the shopping centre, Dowse Lagoon. It is the biggest of the three lagoons in our suburb and is drought affected at the moment. The corellas had come in to drink. You can see them mingling with the seagulls and other water fowl.
I would have liked to get closeups of the two on the stick in the water but they'd have just flown off.
They love to take off and do a lap of the lagoon
And a 10 point landing.
Thank you Cathy & John for sharing your Parrot Humor and Fun Photos of your local wild birds, Corella (Bare Eyed) Cockatoos!
