Lost and Found Pet Bird Resources in Maine

For the Love of Birds: Resources for Lost & Found Pet Birds

I became aware of lost and found birds in the state of Maine, as well as around the country, while attempting to help friends locate lost pet birds. I found it is very difficult to find resources in one place to help a pet bird owner quickly put out the word. Often these birds are flighted and can travel quite a distance. I hope this site will assist people in locating their pet birds. And I hope I can help those who find pet birds reunite them with their owners.

If you know of any other resources, please contact me. I will add them to this resource site. Also, I am looking for stories of pet birds that were lost and found to inspire others. I can create a page or link to your own. People who have lost a bird need all the inspiration they can get.
