About Storm

Storm:

I cracked open my egg in 1998, so I guess that would make me four years old. I have 4 clutch mates  and I am female, (which is the best and only way to be, in my humble opinion.) By human reckoning, I'm a Cinnamon Pied, but as far as I am concerned, I'm just me. My life's work is, of course, raising Andrew, my human friend.

I like peas, carrots, lettuce and Silverbeet, (although I have to admit, peas are my favourite.) Andrew is trying to get me interested in Broccoli, but I really don't like it. I like lots of other human food, but I'm not allowed to have any.  They're not supposed to be good for me, and I don't think Andrew would lie about something like that. (But it doesn't stop me from TRYING to get some, hehe.)

I don't have any favourite colours, but I don't like yellow. I'm not sure why.  I don't talk either. I've been far too busy raising Andrew and writing down what I've learned about humans to really put my mind to into it.

I guess that's my life in an egg shell. It might seem like much, but with Andrew around, life is anything but boring.

Andrew:

Uh, well I'm a fair bit older than Storm. Exactly how old is a national secret!

I like doing lots of things. I play tennis and I like to swim and snorkel. I also like to go hiking and fishing.

I've tried my hand at ceramic painting and panning for gold and semi precious gems. I like to read alot and play computer games.

I like photography, and I love cooking. (And despite what Storm says, I think I'm a pretty good cook.)

But since I'm a bit shy about talking about myself, I think I'll leave it at this.

Andrew & Storm live in Australia.    We hope that Storm's writings - sent to us via Andrew - will continue to entertain and amuse us for a long time. Thank you Andrew and Storm for sharing these with us.
